The architecture of the study is a mirror image of the parlor.  The study, however, was more of a family room for reading, writing and playing cards, checkers or backgammon.  In the foreground is a gate-leg gaming table from the late 18th century.  In the background is a library table from the 19th century.  The furniture and accessories in the house collection reflect a variety of time periods and styles.
