Joseph
Webb Sr.
Joseph Webb was born in Stamford, CT, in 1727.
He moved to Wethersfield, CT, and married Mehitabel Nott in 1749.
The house they built there was completed in 1752 and has been a local
landmark and museum ever since. When Joseph died in 1761, the
house was inherited by his son, Joseph Webb Jr., who married Abigail
Chester in 1774.
