DESCRIPTION:The Kent Delord House museum is excited to announce that we will be having blacksmithing demonstrations all weekend long for Museum Days! Come and watch traditional coal forging on our site. Grab a seat and ask questions as our two new resident blacksmiths demonstrate various metal working techniques. We will also have two new exhibits in our home this year.

SUMMARY:A Taste of The Past: Cooking in the Early 19th Century
DESCRIPTION:The Kent Delord House Museum will be hosting three 19th Century food tastings and discussions presented by the new Director\, Samantha Williams\, a historian and food lover. The dates for the events are as follows; June 29th\, July 27th\, and August 24th. All of the events will be held from 3 to 4 pm. \nThis is a members only event\, and each event will be limited to twenty members. Every attendee will go home with recipe cards for each of the early 19th century dishes that we taste.
