Museum Weekend – Pathways Through History

This event and all of our other events have been canceled due to COVID-19.

Museum Weekend is a NY State wide weekend where museums open their doors to the public for free. Come and visit us and tour our home and grounds for free.

Secret Garden Tour

This event along with all of our other events have been canceled due to COVID-19.

The Kent Delord House Museum’s Garden Club organizes tours of private gardens in the surrounding Plattsburgh area. Each garden on the tour is beautifully maintained, and a hidden treasure. Refreshments served at one of the private gardens. Tickets required, and available at the museum.

A Taste of the Past Event

The Kent Delord House Museum will be hosting three 19th Century food tastings and discussions presented by the Director, Samantha Williams, a historian and food lover. The dates for the events are as follows; January 26th and February 16th. All of the events will be held from 2 to 3 pm.

This is a members only event, and each event will be limited to twenty members. Every attendee will go home with recipe cards for each of the early 19th century dishes that we taste. Each of the events will feature different recipes, so bring an appetite for history and your love of food and come to all three!

For more information, and to register, contact the Museum at (518) 561-1035, there is a limit of 20 people per event.
